NotesThe Lusitania: A classic example of the war profiteering1 The Rothschild banking dynasty has been a global banking leader for centuries. When a banking family that is Jewish is identified, the incorrect conclusion is the hidden hand is limited to "Jewish bankers." Unfortunately, Jewish people have suffered throughout history from persecution grounded in ignorance, and to blame the Jewish community would be as incorrect as to blame the Italian community for the crimes committed by Mafia families. The Rothschild banking dynasty began its great fortune funding Wellington's war with Napolean. The Rothschild family disputes this point but the evidence is overwhelming including the Jewish Encyclopedia from 1906. This source reveals Nathan Rothschild "made no less than four profits on this: (1) on the sale of Wellington's paper, (2) on the sale of the gold to Wellington, (3) on its repurchase, and (4) on forwarding it to Portugal." The family fortune exploded in the days and weeks immediately following June 18, 1815, when Nathan Rothschild benefited from the battle of Waterloo. A Rothschild spy reported Lord Wellington had defeated Napoleon in time for Nathan Rothschild to start a London Stock Exchange rumor that Napoleon had won. As a direct result, stocks plunged and Rothschild was then able to buy up British firms for a fraction of their value. According to the Rothschild endorsed family history by Niall Ferguson, in the years following this event the Rothschild bank became the largest in the world. 2 Source: 1917 pamphlet imperialism vocal the highest stage of capitalism (www.marxists.org/archive/lenin/works/1916/imp-hsc/). 3 See http://rmslusitania.info/pages/victualling_crew/leach_jn.html. Below is the text from this source providing additional details about the three German spies. Mr. JOHN NEIL LEACH, WaiterJohn Neil Leach, 25, was the son of a judge in Jamaica; he had many siblings. Neil was of British nationality, fluent in German, and consorted with known World War I German sympathizers. While in New York, boarded with a German named Gustav Stahl at 20 Leroy Street, where the proprietors were German sympathizers. He also knew German spy Curt Thummel from the same boarding house. Leach was recommended for a job on the Lusitania by his uncle who was a provisions importer in New York and knew Staff Captain Anderson. Stahl testified under oath that the night before the Lusitania left, he and Leach snuck on board and found the Lusitania to be armed. Stahl was later convicted of perjury. Leach's British nationality and consorting with Germans leads to the conclusion that Leach was a mercenary spy working for the Germans. His task on board the Lusitania can only be speculated, but it is very likely that he was connected to the three stowaways apprehended by Detective-Inspector William Pierpoint just after the Lusitania left New York. These stowaways spoke German and did not speak English, and the ship's translator Adolph Pederson had to assist in the interrogation. Some accounts say that they were found with photographic equipment, possibly looking for concealed armament or smuggled munitions. From these descriptions the stowaways seem to be German agents beyond a reasonable doubt. These three were then locked up below decks to await trial for espionage when the Lusitania reached England. When the ship was torpedoed, the three were still locked below decks and drowned.* According to fellow Lusitania researcher Peter Engberg-Klarström, these three may not have been stowaways at all, but actually members of the crew working in league with the Germans. Leach himself might even have been one of those arrested and locked below decks when the sea came in. Ironically, at this point in time, German Intelligence was operating in such secretive circles that Kapitanleutnant Schwieger could not have known that he would be sinking a ship with fellow Germans on board. Leach died in the sinking and his body is not on the official list of the recovered. Subsequent investigations into the Lusitania disaster have tried to paint Leach as a fictional invention of German propaganda, perhaps in efforts to conceal that the Lusitania was being used to smuggle contraband from the United States to Britain. Recent contact with living relatives of Neil Leach has confirmed that he existed. Named in Hickey/Smith and Preston as Neal

The League of Nations was a product of the Treaty of Versailles on June 28, 1919. Many nations and the U.S. Congress saw the League of Nations as a threat to their sovereignty. The League of Nations symbol, a pentagram inside a pentagon, is symbolic of the hidden hand promoting a one world non-democratic government. Fear about the "real" agenda of the League of Nations resulted in its failure. Frustrated by the popular resistance to the League of Nations, in 1921 British intelligence and powerful financiers (e.g., the Rockefeller family) established the Council on Foreign Relations in New York City.
