Our Lady of
Fatima Rehabilitation Center & the Teach Peace Foundation

The Our Lady of Fatima
Rehabilitation Center (OLFRC) has served disabled people of many faiths and
tribes in Africa for over 30 years.
The founder of the OLFRC,
Sr. Sponsa, has returned to the United States because she is 84 years old.
Today, the original group of disabled children are now adults and live independent lives at the site Sr. Sponsa
established outside Monrovia.
In 2008, Sr. Sponsa asked her friend, Dave Dionisi,
to help with the organization he started called the Teach Peace Foundation. As a result
of Sr. Sponsa's request and with her blessing, the
Special Ambassadors
was created.
The Special Ambassador program is run by Kevin Rockensies,
a man well known at the Rehab Center for his volunteer service
over a decade.
Kevin's leadership is helping us teach peace by
educating people that the disabled are not "witched" and should live with
dignity. Kevin's efforts are reinforce by the Teach Peace's increasing wealth of economic
justice programs.

Special
Ambassadors program and make a difference.
We thank donors in 2008 and 2009 who helped us save
both
disabled adults and children from starving and running out of drinking water.
We
now ask for your support to fund the Special Ambassadors program.
