The Financial Crisis & Teaching Peace
The financial crisis is a direct threat to peace and prosperity both in the U.S. and around the world. At the same time the financial crisis is an opportunity to teach peace.
Understanding why the U.S. dollar is a top reason for the Iraq War is essential for peace and prosperity. A basic knowledge of fiat money and how President Woodrow Wilson was hoodwinked by the Federal Reserve private banking cartel will enable you to be a more effective peacemaker. Monopoly Men and the article Devaluation and Demonetization will provide the background necessary to understand both the financial crisis and why the solution requires that the Federal Reserve be abolished. Sometimes understanding what happened in another country can help us see what is happening in our country. With this thought we recommend the documentary, Argentina's Economic Collapse.

We received feedback in last month's membership survey that is helping us improve.
Specific member feedback includes: "The Liberia trip, the student leadership programs, and the information on the economic system are all vital."
"I have found Teach Peace to be the most intelligent, results-oriented peace building organization I know, and most comprehensive in scope."
"I applaud your combination of activism and education. I believe the two approaches are synergistic and therefore need to be operationally linked."
"TPF is concerned with peace based on justice and issues are presented in a balanced way, not like mainstream media which is really disinformation."
"Teach Peace encourages me to keep working on projects for peace."
Visitors to the website will notice a range of improvements including the new About Us section.
We wish to extend a special thank you for your feedback and to our wonderful volunteers. We recently exceeded over $500,000 in volunteered staff time.
