2016 Board Members  

 

Fr. Jim Anderson, MSA

Fr. Jim was ordained a priest in 1977 for the Society of Missionaries of the Holy Apostles. He obtained a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley in 1966, an S.T.B. (theology) from the Angelicum, Rome, S.T.B. in 1974, and a Ph.D. (philosophy, medical ethics) from Georgetown University in 1985.

He served the Holy Apostles College and Seminary in Cromwell, CT from 1977-1980 as Dean of Studies and Admissions, and from 1994-1995 as Academic Vice-President. His present priestly faculties are from the Archdiocese of Los Angeles where he serves the Pastoral Ministry Department of Marian Regional Medical Center, Santa Maria, CA. Dave Dionisi

Dave Dionisi is the founder of the Teach Peace Foundation. He leads all technology systems and services. Dave's experience includes service as a board member for Franciscan Works and as a senior executive with MetLife, DirectAdvice, and New England Financial. Prior to working in corporate America, Dave served the country as an Army Intelligence Officer. His business and military experiences over the last 30 years are complemented by an extensive background as an international volunteer in Asia, Central America, Europe, and Africa. Dave is the author of the Vigilant Christian book series and producer of two Teach Peace documentaries (Akita and the Fatima Secret and The Secret of Nagasaki).

Awards Dave has received include the Martin Luther King Jr. Outstanding International Peace Leader Award, the St. Anthony of Padua Parent and Teacher Association Award, Mission of Hope Disabled Center for Hope Award, and the St. Francis of Assisi AwardClick here for his career summary.

Jeanne Lupien

Jeanne Lupien teaches classes in Davis, California that provide creative learning and play experiences for young children and their parents in a loving, supportive community.

Jeanne is a volunteer with Sister Nora's Place in Sacramento. She is a member of the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament's Rosary and intercessory prayer groups and is passionate about promoting the message of Our Lady of Fatima.

Jeanne is also an advocate for mental health issues and testified before members of Congress who worked to create the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Act.

Howard Mendoabor

Howard Mendoabor led an 800 person school in Tappata, Liberia prior to his country's 14-year civil war. In 2003, literally at the same time his town and school were being destroyed, Howard started working with Dave Dionisi. For the next two years Howard worked with Dave leading a program to care for war orphans. As a result of Howard's leadership, the program for war orphans was acknowledged by the government of Liberia as the best program in the country. This program, Liberia Mission, now serves over 300 children in Liberia, Africa. Howard is a teacher in Tappata and the Teach Peace Foundation leader in Liberia delivering acts of kindness to strengthen families (e.g., organizing medical missions, delivering scholarships, and helping the disabled live with dignity).

 

Tim Moore

Tim Moore is a former Peace Corp volunteer (Swaziland Africa) former missionary (Lower Brule Indian Reservation).

Tim is the treasurer for the Teach Peace Foundation and he is a key advisor for all Teach Peace educational services. Tim is active in his church while also being a member of several prayer and spirituality groups.

 

Magdalena Zazirska Gabriel

Magdalena Zazirska Gabriel is a scientist and earned her Master of Science in Horticulture from the University of Life Sciences in Lublin, Poland and her Masters of Science in Soil Science from Oregon State University. She has an expertise in Geographic Information Systems and complete a two year program on this subject offered by the American River College. Magdalena is fluent in Polish and English. She is helping our team by raising awareness for the Akita and the Fatima Secret documentary.
