both in the United States and around
the world. Dave's experience
includes service as a senior executive with MetLife, DirectAdvice, and New

as an Army Intelligence Officer. His business and military experiences over the
last 29 years are complemented by an extensive background as an international
volunteer in Asia, Central America, Europe and Africa. In 2008, Dave was
presented with the Martin Luther King Jr.
Outstanding International Peace Leader award for his work helping orphans
and poor children in West Africa.
Howard Mendoabor
Howard
Mendoabor led an 800 person school in Tappata, Liberia prior to his country's
14-year civil war. In 2003, literally at the same time his town and school were
being destroyed, Howard started working with Dave Dionisi. For the next two
years Howard worked with Dave leading a program to care for war orphans. As a
result of Howard's leadership, the program for war orphans was acknowledged by
the government of Liberia as the best program in the country. Today, Howard
works for the Teach Peace Foundation as the Executive Director of the
Community Micro-business program.
Under Howard's leadership we are on track to far exceed our 2009 goal of helping
10 villages with self-sustaining gifts of goats and chickens.
