Goats are a wonderful gift because they can thrive by eating grass and plants.

In Liberia, most people can only afford one very simple meal a day. The gift of a goat is a gift of hope for the future. Goats often have two kids every 18 months enabling goat owners to lift themselves out of poverty by earning money for food, health care, and education.

We provide instruction on how to care for the goat and use goat manure to fertilize gardens. When we deliver goats we ask that when these goats reproduce the recipients give a goat to another person. In this way, the people who are helped also help others in need.
