A lifesaving gift of clean drinking water has been made in your

Every two minutes, a child dies from drinking bad
water. The gift made in your name will help many children for many years.
The gift of clean water is specifically enabling
people in Liberia to access clean water on an ongoing basis. This program is
sustainable because the funds we receive enable us to deliver the water
purification system shown on the right. This system produces chlorine and
purifies large quantities of water for multiple years.
 Donated
funds also enable us to dig wells and make old wells reusable. The impact of
global warming is severe in Africa and many wells must now be dug deeper.
The combination of the above water purification
system and a well can transform a village where children are
unable to go to school because they must carry water for their families.
For the very young and old, clean
water is often the difference between life and death.
We
provide instruction on how to use the water purification system and care for the well.
Each village that receives a well is required to
have the village chief agree that anyone wanting to access water from the well
may do so freely. In this way, the gift of the well can promote inter-tribe
harmony and help others in need.
